It was such an honor to capture the story of my best friends wedding. We always joked about how I’d be a bridesmaid in her wedding, and when it came time, Stephanie found herself only trusting me to capture her photos. My maid of honor duties had to be put on hold, but I’d do anything for a friend. Stephanie and Craig met as colleagues but quickly knew it was much more. As they both moved to Columbus, it was all to obvious that this would be the background for their wedding day. Everything went down at Strongwater at 401 W Town St., right in the heart of Downtown. They we’re non-traditional by not worrying about seeing each other as they scrambled to setup the reception area before getting ready. While friends and family helped put the final touches on everything, Stephanie and Craig snuck off to do their first look. We shot in-between the rain, jumping in and out trying to stay cool in the summer heat. With the perfect clearing, we took off to the State House for a few photos before heading to the church, St. Francis of Assisi. Once they made it official, everyone dance and ate and soaked in the new couple bliss! Congratulations Stephanie and Craig!
Big shout out to Chad DiBlasio from DiBlasio Photo for helping out.
